favorite, McConnell's! Walk all the way down State Street or take the trolley for 25 cents to the beach and Stearns Wharf. Looking for a breakfast spot? Helena Avenue Bakery is one of the best and you can grab snacks for a strenuous afternoon at the beach!

There are a handful of vineyards up in the Santa Ynez mountains, or if you want to stick closer to Santa Barbara head to the Funk Zone where you can walk to a dozen tasting rooms and craft breweries. Looking for a tiki bar? Check out Test Pilot!



Calling all History Buffs

 

If you're interested in California history be sure to visit the Santa Barbara Mission, docent tours are Tuesday-Saturday. You can also tour the Santa Barbara Historical Museum for free. 

Check out the Courthouse on

Anacapa for the beautiful architecture and landscaping and have a picnic in the gardens.

Hiking Trails

 

If you're looking for more outdoor activities there are some amazing hikes in the area: Gaviota Hot Springs, Inspiration Point, and 7 Falls to name a few.
